Texas Triangle Sweep !!!

Dreaded Texas Traingle.......really ???

Boston Celtics on Thursday, March 20th of 2008 completed a sweep of the Texas triangle with a 94-90 win over the Dallas Mavericks.

This was the first time since the Celtics of 1987 that any team in the NBA swept the Texas triangle.

Earlier on Monday, Celtics beat defending champions Spurs 93-90 and then ended red-hot Rockets 22 game winning streak with one of the best defensive shows in the season enroute to shutting down the Rockets and Tracy McGrady with a 94-74 win on Tuesday in front of a sell out crowd in Houston.

Celtics have already won the Atlantic division and were the first team to secure a place in the playoffs as early as March 1st week and have maintained an 80% win record overall which includes only 4 loses against a predominately stronger western conference. To add to the impressive record the Celtics have, they have only twice in the season lost a game with double digits and have also had 2 10+ game winning streaks (14 to start the season).

Hopefully, Celtics can keep the intensity going and win it all in 2008.
